Refunds and Cancellations

I’ve tried to keep this as simple and fair as possible.

All Searchlight newsletters are supplied as digital PDF downloads. Because you’re buying a digital file which is made available to you after payment, once your download has been provided we don’t normally offer cancellations or refunds.

That said, if something goes wrong, I’m not going to leave you stranded!

If you have trouble downloading your newsletter, receive the wrong issue, or there’s a problem with the file itself, please email webmaster@rafseletar.co.uk and I’ll do my best to sort it out for you.

Please include your name, the email address used for the purchase and, if possible, your order or payment reference. That’ll make it much easier for me to find your order.

Successful downloads are recorded by the system so I can check whether a newsletter has been delivered.

None of the above affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

I don’t claim copyright or other intellectual property rights over the newsletters or their contents.

Once you’ve downloaded your newsletter, it’s yours to keep, copy and share – much as Searchlight was shared amongst Association members back in the days of its general distribution.

Please remember that these are historical publications. They’re supplied as archived, so you may occasionally find an error, omission, opinion, spelling mistake or other imperfection that appeared in the original newsletter. I’m preserving the archive, not rewriting its history!

Likewise, I don’t claim ownership of photographs, articles or other material originally contributed by individual members, authors or other third parties.

Your Policy

I’m not interested in collecting information about you that I don’t need.

The website collects only the personal information reasonably necessary to process your order, provide your download, answer enquiries and keep the website running.

Payments are handled securely by PayPal. I don’t receive or store your payment card details – those are handled by PayPal.

Your personal information isn’t sold, traded or handed to third parties for marketing purposes, and I don’t maintain a separate customer marketing database or use your purchase details to send you unsolicited marketing.

Information connected with an order may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary for administration, accounting or legal requirements.
